Turnrow offers its customers an online weekly farmers market through Local Food Marketplace. Consumers can hop online and with just a few clicks order locally grown and produced foods each and every week, including fresh produce, frozen meats, eggs, baked goods, and value-added products like jellies, jams, and honey. Although some items like fruits and vegetables are often seasonal, the market does have products to offer year round. Also included on the market are non-edibles like goats’ milk soap and farm crafts. This is an innovative way to access local products and a buying format not available anywhere else in West Virginia.
How it works
The market opens each week on Wednesday at 10am. At that time, customers can log into local food marketplace, check out the available products that week, and make their selections. The market closes on Saturday at 11:30pm. At that time, Turnrow producers harvest and package the customers’ orders. This gives Turnrow the ability to offer products at an unparalleled level of freshness! Keep in mind, these products are often available in limited quantities, and on a first come first serve basis, so be sure to shop early!
Customers interested in shopping from the online market simply need to create an account and choose a pick-up location. There is no fee for shopping via the online marketplace. There is also an app for download available on most smartphones.
Deliveries are made each week on Wednesday to Lewisburg, Union, Talcott, and Charleston, WV. A window of time is made available for customers to pick up their orders in order to accommodate everyone’s work and life schedules as best as we can.
Lewisburg deliveries are available to be picked up at Swift Level Fine Meat from Wednesdays at noon until Saturdays at 3pm during regular store operating hours.
Union deliveries are available at the Monroe County Board of Education building on Wednesdays from 11:30-12:30.
